The Morrisville-Eaton football team may have ended its season on a high note, but the accolades keep rolling in.
Don Johnson and senior Gavin Baker were respectively named the Section III 8-man Coach and Player of the Year.
Johnson, who stepped down after 30 years at the helm, guided Morrisville-Eaton to its first-ever New York State 8-man regional crown in his final season.

The Mavericks also compiled an 11-2 record and dethroned reigning champ Frankfort-Schuyler in the Section III 8-man final under Johnson’s leadership.
