The pastor search committee at Little Rock's Immanuel Baptist Church has settled on a candidate who is vouched for by the president of the Southern Baptist Convention and two of its seminary presidents. The candidate is a man who got his start in ministry while attending John Brown University in Siloam Springs and now serves as senior associate pastor at a Charlotte, N.C., megachurch.
