IU, Turnstone launch AI study
Researchers at Indiana University Bloomington are partnering with Turnstone to launch a new research study aimed at helping people with disabilities build stronger self-advocacy skills through the use of artificial intelligence, officials have announced.
The study, funded by the Lilly Foundation, will test a new six-week online course called Self-Empowerment Awareness Training.
SEAT is designed for people with disabilities – as well as family members of individuals with disabilities – who want to learn how to use AI tools to find reliable information, navigate complex systems and strengthen their self-advocacy.
