KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Families braved the cold on Friday to check out the opening night of Covenant Health Park's Winter Wonderland lightshow.

"I like all of the lights!" River Kimble, who was visiting the park with her parents, said, "It's been ... there's wonderful things, and there's lots of colors".

The Christmas season is finally here, and nothing says "Happy Holidays" like Christmas lights.

"We've got over a million lights, and it's synchronized to music. It's just going to be a fun atmosphere," Chris Allen, President and CEO of Boyd Sports, said.

Allen says they wanted to make sure that there were community events year-round at Covenant Health Park, and he's incredibly proud of the work his team put in to get this project off the ground.
