The UC Bearcats' drought of winning the Crosstown Shootout at Cintas Center was extended with a 79-74 loss Dec. 5.

UC has now lost six of the past seven Crosstown Shootouts.

UC head coach Wes Miller is now 1-4 in the Crosstown Shootout.

Version No. 93 of the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout is in the books, and the most recent chapter is familiar.

The hex on Cincinnati Bearcats basketball at Cintas Center remains as Xavier downed UC Dec. 5, 79-74. Next week will be the 24th anniversary of UC’s last Cintas Center triumph.

UC actually outshot the Musketeers from the three-point line by five, outrebounded them by four and lost by five to drop to 6-3 on the season, with all three losses coming in the last five games.
