The St. Xavier Bombers’ quest for an Ohio Division I state championship came up short Friday night, with the Olentangy Orange Pioneers winning 28-14 in Canton.

Olentangy Orange was led by quarterback Levi Davis, who threw for two touchdowns and ran for 94 yards in the victory. Davis is committed to play college football at Ohio University.
The first quarter was defensive-oriented on both sides, with no points scored and Olentangy Orange intercepting St. Xavier quarterback Jackson Frey.
