After more than 50 days since firing James Franklin , Penn State football has finally found its next head coach .

Matt Campbell, 46, is set to sign an eight-year contract with the Nittany Lions after spending a decade at the helm of the Iowa State Cyclones. The hire, announced Friday night, is pending board approval for Campbell’s compensation.
