We all know that the prices of everything are going up, including health-care costs. No one ever wants to receive bad news from their doctor or need expensive medications, but this scenario is all too real for many Ohioans living with cancer, like me.

I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia for the first time at 4 years old and relapsed in 2021 at 27. I can tell you fighting cancer, especially as a young adult, is hard enough without having to worry about how to pay for it.
