A week ago, Bryant (Arkansas) survived a close call to return to a familiar postseason venue.

Back at Little Rock's War Memorial Stadium for the seventh time since 2018, the Hornets had a relatively easier go of things Friday night. Bryant raced out to a 21-0 halftime lead and got things done on both sides of the ball in an impressive 27-7 win against Bentonville in a matchup between two undefeated teams for the Arkansas Activities Association's Class 7A championship.

It was the second straight year Bryant beat Bentonville in the 7A title game, having prevailed last season, 28-23. Bryant has now won seven state titles in program history, all since 2018.
