LOS ANGELES - The nominations for the 31st Critics Choice Awards were announced Friday in a televised ceremony , giving fans a clear idea of which movies and TV shows may lead this year’s awards season.
The movie “Sinners,” directed by Ryan Coogler, earned the most nominations with 17. The film was recognized in top categories like Best Picture, Best Director and Best Actor for Michael B. Jordan. Following closely behind is “One Battle After Another,” with 14 nominations.
Best Picture nominees are: “Bugonia,” “Frankenstein,” “Hamnet,” “Jay Kelly,” “Marty Supreme,” “One Battle After Another,” “Sentimental Value,” Sinners," “Train Dreams” and “Wicked: For Good.”
