On Friday, December 5, the much anticipated FIFA 2026 World Cup draw took place, revealing the paths for the 42 teams that have already secured their place in the tournament, while the other six remaining spots will be only known after the playoffs that will take place in March 2026, not long before the official kickoff of the tournament that will take place in the United States, Canada and Mexico in June.
The USMNT were lucky and will face Australia, Paraguay and the winner of the UEFA Playoff D, meaning one between Turkiye, Romania, Slovakia and Kosovo. Here's the full list of the groups:
