On Saturday at 1:04 a.m. a special weather statement was issued by the National Weather Service until 6 a.m. for Western Chester, Western Montgomery and Upper Bucks.
"Areas of light precipitation continue to expand over portions of the area early this morning. Most precipitation is in the form of light snow or very fine ice crystals. This may result in hazardous travel conditions at times up through day break. Some freezing fog will also be possible which could further cause slick surfaces in addition to reduced visibilities," adds the weather service.
