The SEVEN jobs most at risk of being replaced by AI in the next year have been revealed in new research ahead of Christmas . Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has surveyed over 2,000 employers on their hiring, redundancy and pay plans for the next year.

17 per cent employers believe AI will reduce their workforce over the next year, and two in three say they believe clerical, junior managerial, professional or administrative roles are most likely to be lost.

A quarter of employers in large private sector firms expect their workforce to shrunk, compared with 17% in the private sector and 20% in the public sector. One in four expect to lose more than 10% of their workforce.
