The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit are investigating a report of a deadly police shooting that occurred Saturday morning in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The incident reportedly occurred after police responded to the area of South Mammoth Road in Manchester for a report of a suspicious vehicle. A pursuit ensued which ended with a motor vehicle crash and a man fleeing the scene.

A foot pursuit followed and in a subsequent encounter with police in the area of 293 South Mammoth Road, the suspect was shot. Life-saving measures were attempted and the man was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
