A crime drama loved by fans after it landed on our screens earlier this year, has now been billed the "greatest miniseries of 2025". The show has also announced some important news. Task is a crime drama television miniseries created and written by Brad Ingelsby for HBO. It stars Mark Ruffalo , Tom Pelphrey, Emilia Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Raúl Castillo, Jamie McShane, Sam Keeley, Fabien Frankel, Alison Oliver, Silvia Dionicio, and Martha Plimpton. It premiered last month and consists of seven episodes.

The series synopsis reads: "Set in the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia, an FBI agent heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family man."
