LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - One person is seriously hurt after a crash in Lexington.

Lexington Police say it happened at the northern split of I-64 west and I-75 north just before 5:30 Saturday morning.

Officers add the crash involved a semi truck and a passenger vehicle.

The crash created a traffic backup, which stretched all the way from Georgetown Road to Russell Cave Road.

Police say one person was taken to the hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
