REGIS LE BRIS has been forced into a defensive reshuffle for Sunderland's Premier League game at Manchester City.
Having been arguably the Black Cats ' best player in Wednesday's 1-1 draw at Liverpool, left-back Reinildo Mandava is unavailable and does not feature in the squad at the Etihad Stadium.
The Mozambique international is missing with what is being described as a 'minor groin injury'.
As a result, Lutsharel Geertruida steps into the starting XI, with the Dutchman expected to start at centre-half with Omar Alderete moving across to left-back.
Le Bris has made two other changes to the side that started the midweek draw at Anfield.
