NEWCASTLE moved into the top half of the Premier League with a 2-1 win over Burnley.
It should have been a routine victory for the Magpies, who led 2-0 at the break thanks to Bruno Guimaraes' opener and Anthony Gordon's penalty, but there was a nervy finale after substitute Zian Flemming scored from the spot in second half stoppage time, and then Burnley missed a glorious opportunity to level in the final seconds.
Still, it's a third win in four Premier League games for Newcastle and to round off a successful day for the Magpies and Eddie Howe, Yoane Wissa made his long-awaited debut from the bench in the second half.
