COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 27-year-old man was arrested and charged after reportedly assaulting two people in southeast Columbus earlier this week, according to police.
Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called on Monday to a restaurant in the 2700 block of Brice Road on a report of an assault.
Upon arrival, officers found two people suffering from injuries. Police said one of the individuals was unresponsive.
Medics with Truro Township transported that victim to a local hospital. The other victim was not transported.
According to police, the victim who was transported had life-threatening injuries. Due to the nature of their injuries, homicide detectives are investigating
On Thursday, 27-year-old Ja'Quawn Bridgmon was arrested and charged with two counts of felonious assault.
