SNOWFLAKE, AZ (AZFamily) — Authorities arrested a man accused of trying to lure two young girls in eastern Arizona earlier this week.

On Wednesday, police received a report of a man following two girls, ages 9 and 11, and asking them for “sexual acts,” according to the Snowflake-Taylor Police Department.

The girls went to a nearby relative’s home and called the police.

While details are limited on how police identified the man and found him, authorities say he was arrested on Friday afternoon and charged with luring a minor for sexual exploitation.

Authorities have not identified the suspect, citing multiple other ongoing investigations into him.

The Snowflake-Taylor Police Department, in a press release, thanked the community for its cooperation and help in finding the man.
