KARACHI:
Karachi is expected to experience slightly colder weather from December 8 due to northwesterly winds affecting the city, the Pakistan Meteorological Department said on Saturday.
According to the PMD, a western weather system currently influencing northern Pakistan and Balochistan is expected to lower Karachi’s temperatures by 1–2 degrees Celsius from Monday.
Chief Meteorologist of Karachi stated that the cold conditions in Balochistan caused by the western system may have a slight impact on Karachi’s weather. Northeasterly winds from the Balochistan region are likely to increase the chill in the city.
