Local Akron superstar LeBron James is teaming up with a celebrity roster and an online retail giant to make the holiday season merry for families in need.

James, along with Jason and Travis Kelce and Dax Shepard, are teaming up with Amazon this year for their Holiday Giving Program to donate over 1 million products, including holiday gifts, essential items, and clothing, to families in need nationwide.

According to a news release, the donations will support the work of the LeBron James Family Foundation, Operation Breakthrough, Toys for Tots, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Covenant House, the Salvation Army and Baby2Baby.

Consumers can contribute by purchasing items on the above charities' Amazon lists and registries.
