Jimmy Thelin’s Aberdeen revival continued as they finally broke into the top six. ‌

The Dons made it eight games without defeat, in all competitions, with their win at Dens Park. Adil Aouchiche’s brace and a late strike from Kevin Nisbet was enough to see off the Dark Blues, despite Ryan Astley pulling one back for the hosts. ‌

The Scottish Cup winners opened up without a win in their first six games but are now picking up points and if they win their game-in-hand they could move point fourth. ‌

Aberdeen will have far loftier ambitions, while Dundee will be looking to turn performances into points.
