LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Texas Department of Transportation will close lanes on South Loop 20 from Dec. 8-12, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

South Loop 20 (Cuatro Vientos Road) will have alternate inside lane closures between State Highway 359 and Lomas Del Sur Boulevard. The closures will affect northbound and southbound traffic from one-half mile south of State Highway 359 to one mile north of Lomas Del Sur Boulevard.

The work involves installing concrete traffic barriers and ensuring safe passage for trucks entering and exiting the work zone. TxDOT advises drivers to slow down and merge to open lanes while looking out for work crews.
