Christian Walton was delighted to help Ipswich Town get back to winning ways, with his side beating Coventry City 3-0 at Portman Road.
The mood around the club had taken a hit after defeat at Oxford United and a flat display in the draw at Blackburn Rovers, but the Blues managed to stun the Championship leaders, handing them their second – and biggest – defeat of the season.
“It was a great win,” the goalkeeper said after the match.
“The first half probably wasn’t at the level we needed it to be, but sometimes in the Championship, that’s how games go. You have to fight and work harder than the opposition to try and nick something when the flow of the game isn’t going your way.
“I thought we did that, and we stuck in there, showed good resilience. A great finish [from Walle Egeli] sets
