NASA astronaut Jonny Kim captured breathtaking footage of the aurora from 260 miles above Earth aboard the International Space Station. Kim says the display followed a major solar particle event that created “beautiful blankets of aurora,” giving astronauts one of the most spectacular views from orbit.
