Lions Club members serving popcorn, lemonade and hot chocolate is a tradition that keeps on giving at La Marque’s Christmas in the Park celebration. It’s a favorite of the community, and the lemonade is prepared by none other than La Marque’s very own Snow King, Greg Cornett.
“I make the lemonade every year to share here with the community,” Cornett said with a twinkle in his eyes.
Cornett is a former president of the local Lions Club.
Joining him and the rest of the club in community service is a new member, Gabrielle Fuentes. Her smile was beaming through as she posed with the group for a photo. She joined the Lions Club for several reasons.
