Through all the difficulties of this year, the people of La Marque did not allow the lights to go dim on their community Christmas. Though the parade was not rolling on the streets, there were plenty of stationary floats with children running around, collecting candy and other items given to them from the hosts of each float.
The La Marque High School marching band was present to usher in Christmas joy, and there were characters from the Nutcracker weaving in and out of the celebration to entertain young guests. Singing voices from the La Marque High School Master Chorale added more Christmas delight.
