Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a 57-year-old Moreno Valley man , the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department announced Saturday, Dec. 6.

Investigators identified Marquise Hall, 34, and Tyiesha Sweeney, 28, both of Highland, as suspects in the case, the department said. Both were arrested on Dec. 3 and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.

Hall was booked on suspicion of the murder of Cesar Gaitan, and Sweeney was booked on suspicion of accessory to murder.

Deputies responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon on Thursday night, Nov. 27, in the 1300 block of Heacock Street and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Gaitan died at the scene.
