WASHINGTON — DC police have released the identity of a man who was shot to death in a NoMa apartment building Friday night.
According to police, “four to five” suspects were seen running away from the building in the 300 block of Morse Street, Northeast after people in the area heard gunfire.
When they arrived at the scene, 20-year-old Roy Lee Bennett, Jr. was unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Police have not released any information regarding the suspects.
