JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person is dead and two others are injured following a multi-vehicle Jacksonville crash.
The Florida Highway Patrol says this happened after 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of J Turner Butler Boulevard and Belfort Road, where a 41-year-old Jacksonville woman was driving westbound in the middle travel lane.
The woman reportedly lost control of her sedan and swerved into the right lane while braking and crashed into the rear of an SUV, driven by a 36-year-old woman with a 35-year-old man inside.
FHP says the 36-year-old woman died from injuries while receiving treatment in a hospital, while the man received minor injuries. The 41-year-old woman also received serious injuries from the crash.
