The benefit that pays you £110 a week that 1.1million people don’t claim has been revealed. 1.9million people in the UK are claiming Attendance Allowance, according to the Department of Work and Pensions ( DWP ).

But Policy in Practice says that as many as 1.1million people could be missing out. Attendance Allowance helps cover costs of pensioners (aged 66+) who need someone to 'attend' them.

You can get it if you have a long-term health condition that means you need help with daily tasks. There are two rates of Attendance Allowance.
