NEW ORLEANS — Holiday events across the New Orleans region offer families a mix of bonfires, lights, and festive attractions throughout December. From long-standing river traditions to neighborhood celebrations and indoor winter experiences, residents and visitors have several options to enjoy the season.

Algiers Bonfire & Concert

Annual holiday celebration featuring live music, food vendors, a holiday craft market and a 30-foot sculptural bonfire designed by NOLA Burners.

Date: December 7, 2025

Time: 2 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Location: Algiers Ferry Landing area; 200 Morgan St., limited parking, access via ferry, bus, bike, or on foot.
