ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A St. Louis advocate is hosting a toy drive this holiday season.

Billy Ratliff, also known as “Frost Money”, is the founder of the annual Christmas Toy Drive Extravaganza, a toy collection that takes place every year, benefiting the Salvation Army and Children’s Hospital.

Ratliff says he created this drive to give back to his community after knowing what it’s like to grow up with instability around the holidays.

“Growing up, some of my earliest memories as a child was living in the Salvation Army,” said Ratliff, “I remember those Christmases where we didn’t get gifts or celebrate and I remember the effect it had on me, so once I got old enough and got into a position to help out, I did.”
