The Red Sox already have improved their starting rotation with two offseason trades, and Craig Breslow might not be done.
Boston is among the teams who have checked in on Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte, according to USA Today’s Bob Nightengale.
“The biggest star who is a realistic candidate to be traded is Ketel Marte,” Nightengale wrote in a story published Sunday.
Marte, who just played on the first year of a six-year, $116.5 million contract , is under control through 2030 with a player option in 2031.
