India’s largest airline, IndiGo, continued to face widespread operational disruptions on Sunday, with extensive cancellations reported across major airports.
In an update issued on December 7, IndiGo said it was “on track to operate over 1,650 flights, up from around 1,500 yesterday,” and reported an improved on-time performance of 75%, compared to 30% the previous day.
The airline also said its refund and baggage processes were functioning “in full action” for all bookings.
Despite this partial recovery, the scale of cancellations remains significant. Since December 2, IndiGo has cancelled more than 5,000 flights, affecting over 7.75 lakh passengers nationwide .
