Liverpool could consider signing Marc Guehi in the winter transfer window

Marc Guehi has declared "God has a plan for me" after his summer switch to Liverpool fell through. Meanwhile, his Crystal Palace teammate Maxence Lacroix has disclosed that the South London outfit's Christian players began praying together last season during their remarkable FA Cup run.

Guehi watched a £35m deadline day transfer to Anfield collapse when the Eagles failed to secure a suitable replacement and called off the move. The England centre-half's contract expires at the end of the campaign and he has informed the club he won't be penning fresh terms.
