AMES — The Iowa State women's basketball team will be without one of its top bench contributors Sunday, Dec. 7.

Iowa State announced that freshman Reese Beaty will miss the 11th-ranked Cyclones' game against Northern Illinois with a "lingering foot injury." Beaty is listed as "day-to-day" and missing the game with what the school called "an abundance of caution."

Beaty, a 5-foot-8 guard, has already become a key contributor during her freshman season, playing valuable minutes off the bench for the Cyclones.
