HENRY COUNTY, Ga. — The latest phase of "Operation Safe Henry" resulted in 53 arrests, authorities stated.

The goal of Operation Safe Henry, which was conducted by the Henry County Sheriff's Office and its law enforcement partners, is to ensure safe streets across the communities. It's the third year they have done the operation.

The sheriff's office said this time around, from Dec. 2 to Dec. 4, deputies cleared 79 warrants and arrested 53 people. There was a total of 305 attempts to locate people wanted in connection with different offenses. The offenses included drug violations, assault, family violence and others.
