SAN ANTONIO — The 33rd edition of the Valero Alamo Bowl will see the TCU Horned Frogs facing off against the University of Southern California Trojans on Dec. 30, game officials announced Sunday afternoon.
The game will kick off at 8 p.m. CT in the Alamodome and will be broadcast on ESPN.
TCU is representing the Big 12 Conference, while USC is from the Big 10 Conference. The two teams last faced each other in the 1998 Sun Bowl. TCU won that matchup in El Paso, beating USC, 28-19.
The Horned Frogs have an 8-4 overall record this season, including 5-4 in the Big 12 Conference. The Frogs will be the designated home team on the west sideline and are led by Head Coach Sonny Dykes.
