The Metropolitan Police have issued a new update on this morning's incident at Heathrow Airport.

Officers were called at 8.11am on Sunday to a multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 following reports of a group of people being assaulted. Armed officers responded to the incident and arrested a man aged 31, who remains in police custody.

The London Ambulance Service treated 21 people with injuries, including a three-year-old girl who was treated at the scene, the Met said. Five people were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening. The force added that based on their investigation so far, it is understood a woman had her luggage stolen by a group of four men.
