ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - On December 7, Alexandria Police Department reported the swift capture of a suspect connected to a homicide that took place on December 6.
Officers responded to the 3600 block of 6th Street at around 4:15 p.m. Saturday after learning of a shooting. At the scene, 20-year-old Christopher Howard Jr. was found to have died from an apparent gunshot wound.
19-year-old Douglas Domino was reportedly arrested in connection to the homicide by APD at around 1 a.m. Sunday.
Domino has been charged with one count of second degree murder and was booked into Rapides Parish Detention Center on a $1,000,000 bond.
