WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Ill. (WSIL) -- Williamson County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant on December 4, 2025, in Herrin, Illinois, as part of a methamphetamine trafficking investigation.
The sheriff's office said Joel Copley was arrested after they said they found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and currency at his residence.
Copley was cited with offenses of delivery and possession of methamphetamine, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.
"This investigation is another example of our continued commitment to aggressively confronting the drug activity that harms our communities," said Sheriff Jeff Diederich."When individuals choose to distribute Methamphetamine in Williamson County, they will be met with decisive action.
