MADISON, (WKOW) — The 61st ski swap event returned to Madison at Varsity Hall, offering discounted winter gear and supporting the student-led Hoofer Ski and Snowboard Club this weekend.
Brady Hinch, vice president of resale for the club, emphasized the event's importance in supporting ski and snowboard activities for students.
“This is one of the biggest ski and snowboard swaps in the Midwest. Hoofers is the ski and snow part. So ski and snowboard club is part of hoofers, which is a large student organization here on campus of Wisconsin, Madison. It's all about kind of getting backed outdoors and hoofing it,” said Hinch.
Hinch explained that resale is crucial for the club's operations.
“Resale is an integral part of the ski and snowboard club. It's where a lot of our funding comes from
