LEXINGTON, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) – Coming off a win in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Wednesday, Kentucky dominated Central Michigan 82-55 on Sunday to keep its momentum rolling.
Five Wildcats scored in double figures. Teonni Key led the way with a double-double, posting 17 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Obi and Clara Strack added 14 points each, Tonie Morgan finished with 12 points and a game-high 11 assists, and Asia Boone scored 11.
The Wildcats shot 50% from the field but just 23% from 3-point range. Kentucky also excelled in ball movement; the Cats finished with a 25-8 advantage in assists.
Kentucky has a week off before traveling to Nashville to face Belmont on Dec. 14 at 3 p.m.
