Duck honors former mayor with the Don Kingston Pavilion

The Main Stage on the Duck Town Green has been dedicated as the Don Kingston Pavilion.

Duck Council elects Thibodeau as new Mayor

Update : At its Dec. 3 meeting, the Duck Town Council voted to elect Monica Thibodeau to succeed Don Kingston as the Town’s Mayor. Thibodeau, who had been serving as Mayor Pro Tempore, has been on the Council since 2002. Four-term Council Member Sandy Whitman was elected Mayor Pro Tempore at the Dec. 3 meeting.

On Dec. 4, the Town of Duck announced it had named the Main Stage on the Town Green after Don Kingston, who served as mayor for 14 years before choosing not to seek re-election in 2025.
