COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) is investigating a fatal crash that took place Sunday morning involving two vehicles.
The crash happened when a 2018 Cadillac Sedan attempted to cross US-76 in the path of a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, causing the Silverado to hit the Cadillac.
Troopers said the Silverado overturned, while the Cadillac Sedan went off the right side of the roadway, struck a fence, a trailer, a parked car, and a building before coming to a stop.
According to SCHP, the front seat passenger in the Cadillac died from their injuries, while the driver was taken to the hospital.
The driver of the Silverado was also taken to a hospital for their injuries.
This crash is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
