With the regular season over and bowl game set, now come the tough conversations.
A week after Michigan saw its playoff hopes fizzle in a lopsided loss to arch-rival Ohio State, the 9-3 Wolverines learned of their postseason draw: Texas in Orlando’s Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Eve .
For a second straight year, Sherrone Moore’s team will head south to Florida to play a big-branded school from the SEC.
“Another opportunity to go play football, especially against a great opponent on a great stage,” Moore told reporters on Sunday after learning of the draw. “It’s another opportunity and why you come to places like this. For us, I felt like it was important — not only for the development of our coaches and our players, but the development of the program.”
Moore has harped on the importance
