SAY A PRAYER

Re “Say a little prayer, but do it in private” (Editorial, Dec. 1): Although it is reasonable to prohibit prayers on roadways, sidewalks and access points to buildings and private property, there is no reason to prohibit prayers by small numbers in places such as parks. Of course, there should be limits on the numbers who can pray there. On the few occasions when I have seen an individual praying in a public space, such as the edge of a forest, it has done me no harm. I am sure that Quebeckers, even cabinet ministers, are equally resilient.
