LINCOLN, Neb. —

Nebraska football has reportedly found its new defensive coordinator.

ESPN's Pete Thamel is reporting that the Huskers have agreed to a three-year deal with San Diego State's Rob Aurich.

The Aztecs finished No.5 in scoring defense this year at 12.6 points per game. Aurich joined San Diego State in 2023, where he was the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach.

The Huskers parted ways with John Butler last week, who served as defensive coordinator for one season.
